The blog will be our way of keeping you more informed about what's going on behind the scenes at snowhome. Kyle and I will post the latest news on new stock arrivals, design ideas, things we like and informal reports about what we are up to.
This year at snowhome we are raising as much money as we can for Asthma UK. To do this we have been giving a percentage of our sales to Asthma UK and Angus has been training hard throughout the winter months to prepare himself to run the London marathon. To sponsor Angus directly go to his marathon site here.
In an attempt to raise even more money we are auctioning off one of the award winning “embrace” coffee tables, designed by York based designer and snowhome employee John Green.
100% of the money raised in this auction will go direct to Asthma UK. So if you would like to bag yourself a future design classic whilst raising money for charity, CLICK HERE and head over to ebay.
Still a little chilly here for Easter but with a revamp of the window we feel a little sunnier.
These porcelain bunny’s with light up tails have been nibbling on some carrots and have attracted many a window shopper. They are not only cute but also energy efficient.
If you are looking for something a little different this Easter then pop in and see us. We have plenty of alternative gifts rather than the usual Chocolate eggs.
And the Wordmap of the USA was born.
It has been kept under wraps until now, but we are proud to say the Wordmap of the USA along with the whole Wordmap range will now be exclusively distributed worldwide by giftware brand Luckies of London.
The wordmap of the USA was launched by Luckies at the New York International Gift fair last week and rumour has it there was a GREAT response.
We have to say a BIG thank you to Alison for all of her hard work illustrating.
Just a quick email to wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas. We would like to thank you for your support over the last year and we look forward to seeing you all in the new year. Snowhome will be closing for our anual break on Christmas Eve and opening up again in the New Year, 4th of January to be exact.
Thank you to all of those who sent cards….see our favourite above, courtesy of Jane + Richard at maraid.
And finally a big thanks to our most loyal customer, Leo, who baked us a lovely loaf of bread (see image above).
Just a quick reminder that our delivery deadline for UK orders is Thursday 20th December. We will not be able to guarantee pre Christmas delivery on order placed after this date.
The shop will be closed for our annual holiday from December 24th until January 4th, any internet orders placed in this period will not be dispatched until our return.
Happy Christmas to all our customers, thanks for you valued support in 2012.
