A contemporary version of the traditional wooden Bavarian cuckoo clock. This clock is fabricated from a sheet of laser cut and lacquered steel and is a beautiful piece of witty minimal design. The cuckoo emerges on the hour to anounce the time with a lifelike cuckoo call, a light sensor detects nightfall and prevents the cuckoo from calling during the hours of darkness. There is also a button to alter the volume of the cuckoo call. The clock is operated by a quartz movement with a swinging pendulum and is powered by two D size batteries ( not included )Available in black or white .
