Based on the AL Sport range the body and cap of the Kaweco Collection Iguana Blue Fountain Pen are made of high-quality CNC-turned aluminium and refined with a silky matt surface. Featuring a golden Kaweco Collection Logo on the pen and equipped with a gold-plated logo cap and a gold-plated nib.
While not exactly "Limited Editions" all Kaweco's Collection ranges will be limited in production run: they are not in the standard range so you do only have a limited time to grab yours if you can't life without this beautiful colourway.
The Kaweco Sport was first designed in 1911 as a pocket fountain pen which could be carried everywhere. It has an octagonal design and an oversized cap. Measuring only 10.5 cm when closed, but when the cap is mounted on top of the barrel they become a 13 cm-long, standard-sized pen, hence the slogan: "small in the pocket, large in the hand".
This Collection edition comes presented in a branded travel tin and like all the Sport range will take International Short Cartridges or a short convertor allowing you to use bottled ink. We are offering this in a broad nib which as a change to our usual medium nib offer and still offers an elegant writing style for a range of hands.
