Last Leaf at Snowhome

Last Leaf at Snowhome is a celebration, in our anniversary year, of 25 years of good design for life.

Sam from Last Leaf design creates handmade furniture from his workshop just outside of York. Working with slower, traditional woodworking techniques, his beautiful, timeless pieces capture the natural charm of wood across an array of bespoke and in-house designed pieces. 

'My aim in my work is simple really. To make truly unique pieces of furniture that are functional as well as beautiful. That use responsibly sourced materials, last for generations and are priced fairly. But most of all, pieces that put a smile on your face.' - Sam from Last Leaf

Having admired Sam's work for many years (he even made our beautiful stationery trial bench) his ethos is the perfect pairing to our own heritage of sourcing collections founded on well made, thoughtfully designed items that will bring joy to the everyday moments of life for years to come. So, we are thrilled to welcome Sam to the shop for a very special pop-up show this Spring.

You can explore Sam's work at the shop from 20th April to 16th May. Discover smaller items (from his much loved workshop stools, chopping boards and plant stands) to examples of his larger furniture creations; including (perfectly for us as stationery fans) the desk of your dreams. They will sit alongside our own ever evolving stationery and lifestyle collections offering an exciting opportunity to discover items to gift and enjoy for you and your home.
