Collection: Flandriens: cycling icons in miniature
Created as a homage to the great riders and teams of the past, these miniature cyclist figures are a Spring Classics-focused celebration of the days of heavy bikes, tough gearing and iconic jersey style.
Start your vintage peloton today, select perhaps Eddy Merckx, Fausto Coppi, Gino Bartali, Jaques Anquetil, Tommy Simpson, Roger De Vlaeminck or Greg Lemond and watch them ride across your bookshelf while we all thank the technological advances that have given us all lighter bikes and compact chain-sets!
What is a Flandrien? Originally a nickname given to the Flemish track cyclists who were the great showmen at the Six-Day Races in the USA in the 1910s and 1920s, often announced as "the blokes who eat raw meat", today a Flandrien is a cyclist with an undiluted attacking instinct, a cyclist who rides through all conditions and never hangs their head.
