With all over patterning, this merino lambswool scarf is woven with just four main colours and various weaves to create a patchwork of textures.

But this is not just a super scarf, this is actually a bit of a window into the world of fashion.  As part of their design process Wallace Sewell always weave each collection on both a dark and a pale warp, and then the team have the tricky job of editing the range down, leaving them with the main collection and the 'understudies': the ALT range.  All these scarves are part of the design process, a little different, but just as special.

These ALT scarves are then never included them in a main collection making them not only a little different but just as special, but quite possibly much more unusual and unseen!  For 2d worth: we actually prefer the Houten Ochre much more in its light warp ALT form and we're sure you'll love it too!

100% merino lambswool, from Australia and South Africa. Dyed and spun in Yorkshire, UK.
