Inspired by origami, Pigeon, is a beautifully crafted combination of letter and envelope - because even with all our hi-tech wizardry, nobody has managed to recreate the magic and joy of the hand-written letter.
It’s hard to imagine any creatures having more fun than these fig-feasting feathered friends. When they first flew into the Pigeon Loft we just knew they’d be the perfect carriers for your correspondence. So pick up a pen (or quill) and get scribbling. Fun or factual, serious or silly – whatever you write on one of these little beauties is certain to cheer up anyone’s day.

Each letter sheet is A4 size. The blank writing are on each sheet is approximately B6 size (measuring 179 x 128mm).

About the illustrator.
Melissa Castrillon is an English and Colombian illustrator based in the southeast of England. She takes inspiration from wandering around old antique shops, and travelling to Colombia where bright woven crafts and fantastical plants help feed her sketchbooks and create new designs. She is motivated by punchy colour combos, inventive compositions, and unusual patterns. Her work has won the Gold Medal award from the Society of Illustrators in New York, and she has illustrated book covers for Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials series.
