TRAVELER'S notebook - blue coloured leather starter kit - Passport Size

The beautiful leather TRAVELER’S notebook, from Japanese stationery brand TRAVELER’S COMPANY, is a highly flexible, customisable notebook system that can go everywhere with you and lasts a lifetime. Perfect for journalling, traveling, note taking, planning, organising, sketching, scrapbooking… the list goes on.

An icon in its own right, the TRAVELER'S notebook is an essential for anyone who appreciates the art of journaling. It is easy, as we have, to fall in love with the notebook: not just because of its good looks and toned down minimalism, but also for its fine quality which continues to remain "just so" with no corners being cut by TRAVELER'S COMPANY despite a recent global shortage of these super books.

The Traveler's notebook is hand-made from a single piece of leather in the northern city of Chiang Mai, Thailand - you'll notice that the notebook, when opened flat, does not have seams or any stitching. This is part of its unique charm and means that your notebook will have all the natural look and feel of that particular hide. When you first unbox your Traveler's notebook, you may notice a fine white powder that covers the entire piece of leather; this is the natural oil which seeps from the skin and takes on a powdery appearance. Don't wipe it off - instead, gently brush it or massage it back into the leather to enrich the hide and keep it soft and supple.

If you love the look of a unique piece that ages over time and acquires marks, dents and scratches that tell a story of a well loved and used notebook, then this is a journal you'll no doubt appreciate. If your look is more decorative, you can accentuate the cover with charms, different coloured bands and stickers all available within the Traveler's Company range.

Is it refillable?

Yes, that's one of its best features: not just refillable but also wonderfully adaptable with it. Your TRAVELER'S notebook can comfortably hold up to four refills together although you can certainly squeeze a few more making your book look either very comprehensively purposeful or bulky depending on your taste.  And in choosing from a very well considered and comprehensive range of TRAVELER'S COMPANY refills you can add and change up the inners to suit the way in which you like to use your book to work, play or journal - ruled, grid, planner, multi-pocket holders, zipper cases, pen clips, kraft paper, accordion stamp collectors or perhaps water colour paper for a spot of art.  Additionally you can paste stickers on the cover of the notebook and add charms on the bookmark or the rubber band to personalise to your style.
