Collection: Bohemia Design

Edinburgh-based Bohemia Design work collaboratively with artisans in Morocco, India, Kenya and Turkey acting as a bridge between traditional crafting communities and an audience who value sustainable authentic goods, producing in the process timeless collections of functional objects.

Their design process revolves around working with individual craftspeople to update shapes, introduce contemporary colour palettes and focus on the finer details to create a fusion between age-old tradition and modernity but during the many many hours they spend in the company of their partners quietly observing and gaining understanding, they never cease to be in awe of their skills.

They believe in fair trade, and treat everybody they meet as we would expect to be treated ourselves and building relationships founded on trust, respect, equality and friendship.
