A perfectly formed pocket-sized pen, the Kaweco Sport is an iconic design, one that is minimal and precise tracing its origins all the way back to 1911. Pitched originally as "small in the pocket, large in the hand" it still lives up to this ideal measuring a mere 10.5cm when closed, becoming a very comfortable 13.3cm in use with the oversized cap "posted".
The gold tone stainless steel smooth, free-flowing, medium width nib, is by Bock of Heidelberg. The barrel and cap have gold tone accents to match the nib. A separate Kaweco clip is available for the Sport range - in this instance we would suggest that a gold tone pen clip might best suit the Classic colour-ways. If you wanted to add one to your order you can find them here
The pen uses standard international ink cartridges, but there is also a short mini-converter available, which you can find here. Because of its all plastic construction it is ideal for the bolder pen fan to create their own home "eyedropper" conversion where the whole body becomes one massive ink reservoir: the Sport is in fact held, by many aficionados, to be one of the best pens out there to do this with.
These pens are presented as standard in a simple Kaweco branded paper carton - Kaweco "vintage-branding" gift tins are available here. And if you'd like to protect your pen while you're out and about, you can find Kaweco eco-leather pen pouches here.
