A classic Italian soft shaving soap with a contemporary twist - The Goodfella’s Smile soaps make a rich slick lather and receive consistently good reviews among the growing army of devotees of slower pamper-style traditional shaving. It’s true that we love the graphics on the packaging, but we also love the scents.
Shibusa 2 is a modern take on a very traditional masculine sweet floral fragrance: it feels inspired by Mandorolo di Sicilia Acqua di Parma and is calming and sweet with notes of almond, anise, pesco, vanilla and white musk.
The soap base is a traditional one that contains tallow - so, to say the least, it is not going to be a great choice for vegetarians or vegans. Equally, if you’ve never used a tallow soap before do not fear: the tallow here has been radically altered during the saponification process, so using this product will, fortunately, not give you the same sensation as lathering cold dripping fat on your face.
Founded in Bergamo in 2011 The Goodfella’s Smile mission statement is reassuringly simple: to focus on the study and selection of raw materials and create a quality product at an affordable price. And all Made in Italy.
